USAGE PACE TOOL

Codex usage calculator

Use the numbers in your own account to estimate how much weekly quota remains and what an even daily pace would look like.

Important: This is a local planning aid, not an account monitor. It cannot see your allowance, confirm a public reset, or tell you whether your account is eligible for a reset.

LOCAL WEEKLY PACE CHECK

Estimate a sustainable weekly pace

Enter the used percentage and the exact future weekly reset time shown in your account. The calculation runs in this browser only; it does not sign in, read Codex, or send your data.

How to use the result

Copy the used percentage and exact future weekly reset time from Codex or ChatGPT Settings → Usage. “Ahead of even pace” means the entered usage is higher than the share expected to be used by now; “below” means it is lower. The daily figure is percentage points of the weekly allowance, not a guaranteed prompt count.

Frequently asked questions

Does this calculator read my Codex account?

No. It only uses the percentage and future reset time that you enter. The calculation runs in your browser and cannot inspect your account.

How is the weekly pace calculated?

It treats the seven days ending at your entered reset time as an even window, compares your used percentage with the elapsed share of that window, and divides remaining quota by the remaining days.

Is this a prediction of my reset time?

No. Use the exact future weekly reset time shown in your own Codex or ChatGPT usage screen. This page only explains the pace implied by that input.
